MYOFASCIAL RELEASE & HOLISTIC WELLNESS
WHAT WE OFFER
MORE THAN TREATMENT.
A RETURN TO YOURSELF.
This is a space where physical care and emotional healing meet. Where we don't just chase symptoms we ask what your body has been carrying, and help you set it down.
Myofascial Release
Expert-level John Barnes MFR gentle, sustained pressure that releases the connective tissue restrictions holding your body in patterns of pain, guarding, and compensation.
Nervous System Care
Trauma, chronic stress, and unresolved tension are stored in the body's fascia and nervous system. We work at that level not just the muscles or the spine, but the whole regulatory system.
Whole-Person Wellness
Sleep, environment, self-care, emotional wellbeing these aren't separate from healing. We hold space for all of it, and help you build a life where your body can actually recover.
TRAUMA, TENSION & HEALING
YOUR BODY REMEMBERS EVERYTHING.
Trauma doesn't always look like a dramatic event. It can be years of chronic stress, a difficult birth, a loss, a relationship, or a season of life that asked too much of you. Over time, that experience becomes woven into your tissue showing up as pain, fatigue, or a feeling of not being at home in your own body.

Myofascial Release offers something most treatments don't: a way to address the body at the level where that experience is actually stored. Not by talking about it. By releasing it gently, safely, and at your own pace.
Creating Space for Stillness
Before and after your session, we honor the importance of presence, breath, and a calm environment. Healing doesn't rush.
Sleep & Recovery
The body repairs itself in rest. When pain or dysregulation interrupt your sleep, the whole system suffers. We treat this as part of your care.
Self-Care as Medicine
Environment, nourishment, movement, boundaries these aren't luxuries. We talk about all of it, because healing happens between sessions too.
You Are Not Broken.
Your body adapted to survive. MFR helps it learn that it's safe to let go.
Chronic pain & fibromyalgia
Trauma stored in the body
Anxiety & nervous system dysregulation
Emotional holding patterns
Fatigue & depletion
Disconnect from self
Post-surgical or illness recovery
"I am here for you — all of you."
WHAT IS FASCIA?
Fascia is a continuous, three-dimensional web of connective tissue that wraps and interpenetrates every structure in your body muscle, bone, nerve, organ, brain, and spinal cord. It runs from head to toe without interruption.

When any part of that system is stressed by injury, inflammation, surgery, trauma, or chronic tension restrictions form. Those restrictions don't show up on MRIs or X-rays. But they can generate enormous pressure on sensitive structures throughout the body.
~2,000 lbs/in²
The tensile pressure fascial restrictions can exert on pain-sensitive structures pressure that standard imaging will never show.
THE SCIENCE OF SOFTNESS
WHY GENTLE WORKS
WHEN FORCING DOESN'T
MFR works by applying low-load, sustained pressure held long enough for the fascia to slowly elongate and release. This is not a technique about force. It is about patience, precision, and listening to what the body is trying to tell you.

One restriction in the hip can cause headaches. Scar tissue in the pelvis can affect the shoulder. A fall from childhood can still be shaping your posture decades later. This is why we treat the whole body not just where it hurts.

Each session is performed directly on skin, without oils or lotions, so your therapist can feel exactly where the tissue is pulling and where it needs to go.

ABOUT SANDRA
TRAINED BY THE BEST.
HERE FOR YOU.
I became a physical therapist because I believed the body was capable of more healing than most people were being offered. Twenty-two years later, I still believe that more than ever.
I trained directly under John Barnes, PT the founder of John Barnes Myofascial Release and the world's foremost authority on fascial treatment. I completed my internship with him personally in Paoli, Pennsylvania, and have taken 17 courses taught by him. That depth of training is rare. It means I don't just know the technique I understand the philosophy, the subtlety, and the profound respect for the body that makes this work transformative rather than just mechanical.
I keep my practice small and intentional. Every session is one-on-one with me personally. I never rush. I never use aides for treatment. I bring my full attention to every person who comes through my door whether they're here to resolve chronic pain, recover postpartum, help their infant thrive, or simply reconnect with a body that has been through a great deal.
You deserve someone who sees you as a whole person. That is what I am here to offer.

THE WAY WE WORK
HEALING HAPPENS IN THE WHOLE OF YOUR LIFE
Sessions matter. But so does everything that surrounds them. We talk about all of it.
Meditation & Presence
Arriving in your body not your to-do list is part of how healing begins. We honor that transition before every session.
Sleep & Rest
Your tissue repairs in sleep. Poor rest undermines everything. We look at sleep as an active part of your treatment plan.
Environment & Peace
What surrounds you shapes your nervous system daily. We talk about your environment as part of your recovery.
Compassionate Care
You will never feel rushed, judged, or dismissed here. You will be seen, heard, and cared for fully and without reservation.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO KEEP CARRYING THIS ALONE.
Whether you've been in pain for years, you're navigating a new season of life, or you simply know something is off and can't quite name it I am here. Let's start with a conversation.
